Cd Changer

Slipped in my CD cassette in my 96 LS400. Sounds like it loads OK, but it does not play. Get an ERR 21. Anyone know what that means? Yes, the CDs are loaded with the labels down.

error 21 is a focus failure. vibration of the unit could cause it . does it happen whyen driving t sitting still. if both then unit going bad.

Thanks for the reply Pioneer. The error occurs just sitting in the driveway.

Had not happen before. Did not play CDs in a month or so. Have a second cassette, so going to try it.

What is the fix if that does not work?

Does it matter if car is on or off?

No difference if the car is running or not. ERR 21. Arrrrgh!
