^I screwed the mirror back on...the previous owner hit a deer, he replaced the hood (no paint) the windshield, and glued the mirror back on...it fell off 2 days after i bought it...i bumped it while waxing and it fell off. so i screwed it back on! LOL.

I'd say that at some point a little Squirrel buddy took up residence in the air box.

My ES300 looked exactly the same when I bought it used last year. It was stored long enough in one place that a squirrel or chipmunk could make it his home. Only one way to get in and it's through the air intake under the wheel well.
