tazanet Posted September 28, 2008 Share Posted September 28, 2008 please help me to diagnose this problem. after heavy rainy day 99 ES300 doesn't start. battery is OK. starter doesn't crank, dashboard lights up and then dies when i turn key to start mode or if i put headlights on. also i hear tik tik tik noise from glove compartment similar to relay switching what should i check or replace? this is best car i owned! driving over 4 years, didn't had any problems at all. Rhoderman Posted September 28, 2008 Share Posted September 28, 2008 Check your battery connections. Pull them off, clean them, and put them back. If that's no help, check your engine ground (where the battery minus goes) and where the positive attaches to the starter. Good Luck, and post back what fixed it for others to use later.
