Pogigreg Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 What's up everyone! I just took posession of a very clean black 98 GS400 yesterday. This is my very first Lexus, and the price was right. I got the car for $5600, and it has 201K miles on it. I am not afraid of the miles, because the previous owner was a businessman and I was told it was all highway miles. I picked it up from a Toyota dealer who had it on their lot. Funny how you decide to go out and buy a car. There was no plans, I was not researching Lexus cars at all. I was at Tacocabana eating lunch yesterday, and decided to go look. The Toyota dealer happened to be open, and well the rest is history. With that said, what kind of maintenance do I need to be looking to do or watching out for at this kind of miles? The things I plan to take care of today is the cracked winshield, and next week I plan to get the front bumper painted as well as replace a foglight. Here are some pics. What do you think?

Power Pack Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 * You will "love" it! Have my "98 GS400 since new, 170,000 miles, it's perfect, fast, relatively good gas mileage, (depending on right foot) and it looks great. Enjoy your new ride. Bob S. - Eugene, OR.
