My Fuel Guage Is Dead

Recommended Posts

About a week ago i filled my car full of gas. the guage read fine until I got home and turned off my car. I them got back in it after 30minutes and i noticed that my fuel guage read empty. i thought I was trippin' , so I checked for leaks and nothing. So i then went back to the gas station and pumped .40 cents into my tank and it was full. i said screw it and drove like that all week untill i almost ran out of gas. When it almost ran out of gas the orage light(low fuel) was on. What should i do?

Welcome to the club LEXDOGG. I have a similar problem with my own guage, along with a string of other "Lexus" problems. Before I bought a Lexus, I though that they were "creme de la creme". Seems Toyota goofed on this creation.

So you think the low fuel light is accurate?

Just no movement in the needle?

Yup, the light is accurate but the guage is not! I was thinking the sending unit.
