Clyde 1
Ok...New issue has developed with my 93 SC 400. It recently started short shifting thru the entire range of gears, right off the stop it uses 1st ok then long before enuff revs are built ......it shifts to 2nd then into 3rd and on into OD .....making the engine lug terrible Any suggestions?...I idea's on where to start? Thx in advance Clyde
UCF3
have you changed the transmission fluid recently?
Clyde 1
yes I did, it didn't make any difference in the way it shifts in the drive position.......I will add tho, when I start out in 2nd gear.......... the shift between 1st and 2nd gears seems to be normal
UCF3
It sounds normal. have you experienced something differently in the past? Also is the engine choking or does it feel like the entire car is jerking while it's changing gears?

No stuttering or abnormal stuff .....in DRIVE it shifts normal 1st to 2nd.....immediately followed by 3rd and OD...without building any revs in between 2nd and 3rd or between 3rd and OD. Thx again Clyde
