What Do The Mystery Parts Do?

Recommended Posts

I just removed the CD changer from my 95 Gs300 touring edition, and there is this box below it with 3 wire harnesses, the car runs fine without it, I was just curious if it was related to the cd changer or if it had anything to do with the tail lights (my turn signals still work without it hooked up)

below is the box, it is on the passenger side of the trunk

Also Do i need these weights on my exhaust pipes or can i remove them to save on weight? below are images of them as well:

I assume they just keep the pipes from rattling and making noise? I would rather have a rattle and better gas mileage! :)

Thanks! any info appreciated!!

I think you're looking at the stock amplifier... I removed mine since I'm running components on a seperate amp. i dunno about the other stuff.

THANKS!!! the GS runs even faster without it lol, have not noticed any effects from it being removed! I love putting cars on weight diets.......... :P

anybody know what the weight is?
