Power Steering High Pressure Hose

My wrench just advised me that I have a leak in my Power Steering High Pressure Hose. He quoted me $500.00 for hose ALONE. Is he serious, or delirious, or is it me? Is there an aftermarket for this part (he tells me no, I know better [ at least I think I do] ). Has anyone else had this problem?

I looked around and I think I found the part for about $300. It's a Lexus part with built in sensors or something special if I remember. Sorry.
