dudeman86 Posted July 27, 2008 Share Posted July 27, 2008 Hey guys first post here. I've been trying to locate the thermostat on my 95 ES300 and haven't had any luck so far. The other posts i've read for other year models say it's where the top radiator hose enters the engine. This is not the case for the 95. My hose goes directly into the engine block via an extension that comes up from the block. There are no housings or bolts to remove. Thanks for any help. dudeman86 Posted July 28, 2008 Author Share Posted July 28, 2008 I'm gonna answer my own question for anyone else who had trouble with this. It's located on the right side of the engine ( when your facing it from the front). follow the lower radiator hose up to the block. There will be a L shaped piece connecting to the block. the Thermostat is located inside it. IT IS NOT NEXT TO THE WATER PUMP LOCATED ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ENGINE. you can download a Factory Service Manual (FSM) from phatg20.net. you will need to download the '97 version. Same thing as '95, I couldn't find one for '95 and I LOOKED EVERYWHERE online. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
