'90 Ls400 Shifter Not Moving As Easily As Before

My 1990 LS400 (many miles) has started having some resistance in the transmission shifter between all the settings (P-R-N-D). It never "catches" and it moves smoothly, but not nearly as easily as before. It's as if it used to move in light-weight oil and now it moves in something much thicker.

There is a rubber bushing in the linkage under the car. Looks like a minature sway bar bushing. I have a 1990 also and after changing them on my 1991 Mercedes I thought to check my Lexus. The Mercedes ones are a hard nylon plastic and disintergrate over time. On my 1991 Mercedes, this led to a loose shifter. On my 2000 C280, this led to a really stiff shifter. The rubber Lexus bushing was still in very good condition. If you find that you need this bushing, I'll sell you my used one for shipping costs.
