tumy Posted July 14, 2008 Share Posted July 14, 2008 I recently joined the forum and I have to say that it is really quite helpful. I recently bought a 1992 LS400 with a 1994 engine mounted on it ( TRAC disabled). With a new air filter installed, when I step on the kick down the car dies as if it is chocking, rpm goes up so slow. When i remove the air filter it runs much better. However, still not like a normal LS400. I was told it might be the MAF, I replaced it and the same problem remains.
