Gs300 Dashboard Indicator Light

Hi. I just bought a used 2001 GS300 and don't have the owners manual yet (just ordered one from lexus.com). A dashboard indicator light shows up when I apply the brake - it's an image of a car with lines coming off the back of it. Can anyone tell me what that means? I know there's a separate brake indicator light so I don't know what this one is telling me.

Any help would be appreciated.

i think this is the indicator light that goes off when one of your brake lights is burned out. almost one hundred percent sure that this is what it means. good luck.

i agree. I just had that prob fixed. brake light burned out- on an "98. '01- ..OUch hope this isn't a sign of more bad things to come. Check, is your brake light bruned out. It is hard toA explain I small dtails icon in words. A picture would help.

Brake lights burn out, its normal ;)

Definately the brake light out lamp. It only comes on when you hit the brakes because thats the only time power runs through the circuit.
