APPLIANCEGUY Posted July 6, 2008 Share Posted July 6, 2008 hi everyone i hope thius doesn't sound stupid...but the prior owner of my lexus ls 400 1993 said that he blew 2 freeze plugs in a 12 month period.. im thinking that his antifreeze/water mixture was wrong..or even more likely when he must have had a leak at one point he added straight water to the system something he would god forbid ever admit... ego maniac... i mean what else could cause such an occurance? any advice would be greatly appreciated. p.s. i am going to have the coolant system drained/flushed and properly filled with the correct mixture .
