yidaitianjiaous Posted June 20, 2008 Share Posted June 20, 2008 it's 1992 LS 400 with 160k. several days ago, i found when i start up the engine, the sounds is kind hollow like sonthing loose, sound not that solid (hrad to describe) but when the engine runs, everything sounds ok like normal. this happenes only at the stratup for seconds when i turn the ignition key. any suggetstion, guys? thx Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

eatingupblacktop Posted July 1, 2008 Share Posted July 1, 2008 Beside the change in sound, with a fully charged battery, if it's cranking slower or longer before it starts, then it's probably drawing too many cranking amps and will need to be replaced soon.
