sjc6765
I am not getting power to my A/C clutch. When the A/c buton is pressed, the Idle goes up then the a/c light starts blinking. No power to the A/c clutch. Everything I have says the relay is in the engine compartment relay/fuse block. Nothing in there say A/C relay. Does anybody know where this is located so I can troubleshoot further? Any other advise is appreciated as well.
GrnHrnt
Relay you seek is on R/B No 2. Under black plastic cover, between battery and DS front shock tower. Relay itself has a 1in x 1in square black plastic cover, near center of board. Lexus labels it "MG CLT". An abbreviation for "Magnetic Clutch"? jerzyjim
This might help:[ I just got my '97 Sc300 today and the AC is slightly cool, not cold. If it could be a mag clt, could I know if it was bad? I'm sure I located it, in front of radio fuse. How do I remove it? It seems very resistant to removal. Oh by the way, the car is sensational !!!!! Thanx for your time and advice...... jerzyjim
