theoneandonly
Does anyone know where the fuel filter is located for a 98 LS400? Is it easily replaced?

paulo57509
According to the 1998 shop manual, the fuel filter is in the fuel tank. Replacing it requires removal of the back seat to gain access to the fuel tank and then removing the fuel pump assembly (pump, regulator and fuel filter) from the fuel tank. Thank you - I thought it might be either in the back seat area or the engine.
bicol-ini
what youre talking about is the fuel pump filter located inside the gas tank, what he needs is the inline fuel filter located in the rear of the vehicle, be careful changing this you might stripped the threads of the fuel tubing (somebody did), here check my thread on how i did this, good luck http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...c=16958&hl=
