Love the car, but I've noticed a strong whinning noise in the rear end as I decelerate between 50 mph and 40 mph. I don't seem to remember hearing this noise when we test drove, or on the loaners we've received. Any thoughts?? bobfromatl Posted December 16, 2003 Share Posted December 16, 2003 This is a known problem. Happened to me and they applied fix that included changing out some transmission lines. The noise wasn't there when I bought the car, nor was it on the loaner I recently had. Did you have to PUSH the dealer to get it fixed??
