Dogmom
I have a bluish stain on my driver's side mirror and can see what looks like the heating elements. My mechanic tells me that this problem is common and a manufacturing defect. I just went out of warranty in December, but if it's a faulty part, will the dealer stand behind it? Anyone else know about this problem?
The G Man
That bluish stain is from the fluid they use for the heated mirrors, it must be leaking. Try telling the dealer it started leaking b 4 the warranty is up and see what they say. If they do fix it for you, it will be out of good will. Good Luck

denslexusgx470
Yes. Try talking it out with the dealer. Usually something simple like that, they would fix for you with their "good will" allotment. ;)
