Paint Peeling Off

Hey i own a is 250 2007 W/ 8000 miles, its a glacier white paint, the paint is obviously peeling off under a headlight/front bumper .....definately not a rock chip, and there is a very small orange spot on the drivers door, i had this car about a month and always handwashed it...anyother complaints? oh...The Bugs swarm to it...wierd? they just hang out on it constantly, even after dusk,,, anyone had similar situation?...another strange thing, My head lights came on without engine on...(set on Auto) could a thunder clap trigger it??? thanks for any Help

take it back to dealer under factory warranty.............also shouldnt you be in the IS LEXUS section darling and not the gs section?

Umm, he is in the IS section, isn't he? Unless I'm lost, too!

I would take it back under warranty. Not sure about the orange spot, however.

And as for the bugs, I've seen other people complain about that. Fortunately, I don't seem to have that problem. Maybe it's the color? Although my car is the silver, I had the white one before, but still didn't have the issue.

I think it depends on where you live and if it's a bug mating area.

I have the same bug problem...my IS is Starfire pearl and bugs swarm on/around it all the time....no clue what it is, bit Im kinda glad Im not the only one with this issue :)

Some kinds of car wax smell "fruity" or maybe an air freshener attracts bugs? Possibly the light colored cars reflect lights and attract bugs like the porch light?
