I was paging through the Toyota 2GR-FE service manual and notice that the procedure for water pump replacment requires removal of the engine and transaxle assembly to get to it (11.0 hours labor). Has anyone had a waterpump go bad and require this or is there another procedure used out there? This would make a good case for the extended warranty.
