sergey85 Posted May 8, 2008 Share Posted May 8, 2008 hi im a new member here and love lexus. so i have been looking for a car to buy so i could work on. i met someone who is selling a 1996 ls400 its white on gray got like 140 or 160 thousand miles. now he said the rear shocks were shot. i am wondering if its air or struts/coilovers? and i did read the "things to check befere buying a ls400" sites. also he said the rear window is blown cause his girl through something(how much is that), and the last thing he said was that the it needs a time belt. he is selling it for $2000 now im gonna try to lower the price but would it just be a money pit? im trying to get more experience with cars and work on them so are they pretty easy to work on?.imm gonna try to check it out this week.thanks in advance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
