High Beam Don't Work

What's up fellow lexers I have a 93 lexus gs300 my high beams don't work the indicator lights up showing they are on but they are not burning.When I hit the switch for the high beams to come on the fog lights go out like they suppose to but high beams don't come on any suggestions what might cause this. Thanks

Check the fuse or bulb for being burnt ?

yes I tried that but whoever rewired the car lights i think didn't wire it right

Why don't you just wire the assemblies properly and call it a day.
