Doing A 15 Or 20k Service

Hello all,

I was just wondering what you guys recommended as far as 15k maintenance. I recently picked up a clean 93 LS400 with 112K miles... and all service records at lexus.

I just figure I can save a lot of cash by having my mechanic do the work for me. How complicated are these cars anyway? I wanted to basically do Sparkplugs, mayyybe wires, (what else?) does it have a cap and rotor?

I took it to the dealership for an oil change, and I was wondering.. I don't think they use synthetic at the dealership.. but the previous owner told me he did... so should I go back to synthetic? will it damage the engine? If so, what weight Mobil 1 should I use?
