fjstl
I did a search and couldn't find my answer. I always use sunoco 93 octane gas. does anyone know if 91 octane would cause any performance problems. thanks.
raymsixsix
Nope. As far as I know, the minimum fuel requirement, per owners manual, is 91 octane.
TexasLexus94
Octane readings are affected by your land elevation, so if I'm in Death Valley, I would need a higher octane fuel than if I'm in Casper, Wyoming. Although it's been a couple of years since I've been in Wyoming, and I wouldn't doubt that maybe the oil companies have jumbled the octane to a standard type. $3.55 in LV-Thanks, GW.
