LexES 300 Posted April 23, 2008 Share Posted April 23, 2008 98 ES300 so i bought a new deck... i unplugged the battery and pulled out the stock one.. turns out best buy sold me the wrong dash kit so i put everything back together (stock) and it worked fine.. next day i went to pull out the stock deck again and forgot to unplug the battery and after pulling out the stock one, i plugged in the new one and there was no power to it.. plugged the stock one back in and still no power to that.. tested the plug with a meter and theres no power coming through the plug.. checked the fuses and there good.... what now?? is there some sort of security issue when i unplugged the deck without unplugging the battery first?? please help!
