ChicagoRX300 Posted December 6, 2003 Share Posted December 6, 2003 Hello everyone! I am a new Lexus owner as I just purchased a 2001 RX300. I love it - other than it did not come with the GPS Navigation system. I would love to have this as I do A LOT of traveling, especially out of state. Is it possible to upgrade? Are there any contacts you can provide me rather than a dealer that will charge me full list price on the GPS system? Are there any ways to find these used or refurbished?? jbarhorst2 Posted December 7, 2003 Share Posted December 7, 2003 Not only would you have to add the system, but you would also have to change the dash covers and center stack because they are different from the Non-Navi version. stng007 Posted January 2, 2004 Share Posted January 2, 2004 Hi Everyone, I also have a 2001 RX300 with navigation system software v2000. It's great except the navigation started to act crazy. It's going everywhere except your input destination. It's wacked. At least, it still knows its current position. It seems like it needs a software upgrade.
