Hello,

Tried to find this problem listed here with no luck....when ever I start up my 2004 LS430 ater 20 or so seconds I get a warning on the nav screen and a bell sound that that bluetooth connection failed. What do I need to do to fix this? Thanks!. Great forum!

Your car is looking for a bluetooth device that was set up.. Go into the Bluetooth device settings and delete the device it is looking for.

I don't have BT in my car since I have a 97.

But I just wanted to share that I have the Jawbone headset and it's the most amazing thing I've ever used. People can't tell at all I'm on a headset.

Anyone interested in getting a headset definately look into the Jawbone.

I've been searching for an LS430 to buy for quite some time and am close to getting an 03'. Does the 03' have the Bluetooth option?

No, 2004 was the first model year for BlueTooth. It is easy enough to install an aftermarket BlueTooth kit but an aftermarket Bluetooth kit will not interface with the Lexus nav system.
