Check Engine Light & Blinking Traction Light On?

Hi I have a 2003 IS-300 Check Engine Light & Blinking Traction Light On? Can anyone tell me why this is on? First the check engine light came on then the Trac light started blinking. I've read to disconect the battery for 10 minutes and reconnect. I did that and it did turn off the Check engine light but it came back on after driving for 30 minutes?

You've thrown a cel. Try going to AutoZone and have them do an ODBII scan. They will tell you the code for the problem. You probably have an 02 sensor issue. It's an easy fix, You just need to find out which one.

I have the same problem after installing new clutch and flywheel, i aslo have a 2003 is300 5spd, i pulled the codes there was two one was P0430 and the was the same except it had a "pd" next to it? i'm hoping it is just a loose connection when i removed/installed exhaust? i did a search of P0430 but came up with nothing? is there a thread with CEL Codes?

Thanks in advance for the help.

-Arnold.

So did you ever find out what it was? I'm thinking maybe a wheel speed sensor or trac sensor. Possibly got disconnected at some point and still needs a reconnect. Just an idea...:D
