97 Lx 450

I have a 1997 lx450, the car has very little power above 1500 rpm, also the rpm will fluctuate a bit. I checked the EGR, everything is good there as far as I can tell, vacum and all. When I push the pedal down the engine starts to sound lourder and deeper but more airy, almost like it's not getting enough fuel ( makes sense). I've had EGR issues before and then replaced it, could the EGR going bad have affected something else? There are no bad rotten egg smells, and the engine light turns on sometimes, but only if I've been doing a bit og highway driving. Any tips?

Thanks

Get the codes pulled and find out what's tripping the CEL. Most likely that will lead you to your problem. It's the best place to start.
