jasond86 Posted April 4, 2008 Share Posted April 4, 2008 ok so heres my plan, I want to open up my headlights, and paint the silver parts that arent part of the lens flat black, similar to what you see on alot of newer cars (scions for example). i know that will involve taking off the plastic cover. my brother did that on his altima a few years ago to remove some amber plastic by putting the headlights in the oven for the sealer to melt then prying the cover off I'm wondering if anyone has ever dona anything similar and can give me any advice. my biggest question is what temperature to bake them at and for how long. thanks Jason Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
