My 99 Gs300 Will Not Start....

My Lexus 99 GS300 just won't start I don't know what to do. I will turn the key and it just will not catch. What can I do to find out what my problem is??? Thanks

this the factory key? or a replacement key? does it have power? like when u open the doors do all the lights come on? have u checked the battery to make sure it has power? tried jumpiong it...........little more info......might help!
