gnozahs
For some reason, the fuse for the clock, temp, heater etc keeps going out on me. I've already gone through 3 fuses and can't pinpoint the reason for this. Any ideas?

blake918
Is your cigarette lighter loose?
gnozahs
You know what, the other day when I was using the cigarette lighter to pump my tires, it actually kind of came out and I pushed it back in. And I also noticed that there seems to be some black ash or dust that poofs up onto the windshield when I start the car. I'll check the cigarette lighter. gnozahs
Is your cigarette lighter loose? Is there a write up on here on how to fix the cigarette lighter or should I just go ahead and try to attempt to take the console apart and tighten it/fix it. It's hardly a tutorial, but it'll at least point you in the right direction:http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...&hl=ashtray If you don't have the time/desire to disassemble everything any time soon, just unplug the power cable that goes to the cig lighter (should take about 2 minutes). That'll at least save you the pain in the !Removed! of having to change the fuse everytime it blows.
