Adam D Posted March 24, 2008 Share Posted March 24, 2008 All, Having a bit of trouble here - hoping someone in this forum can help me out. Recently, the door lock rod clip snapped on the driver's side of my SC300. I've had it happen to me before - got the little plastic clip from pep boys and pushed it into the hole on the inside of the door handle and good as new. Well, it appears that now the metal rod which the door lock rod clip goes on has snapped from the base. Basically, I needed to buy a whole new door lock assembly to install. I now have one in possession, but am hesitant to pull my door apart to install this in fear of not being able to get it back together. Has anyone done this before? I've had the interior door panel off countless of times, so if anyone has any tips/steps from this point forward, I'd appreciate it. Does anyone know any good links on the web or has ever personally replaced this themselves? Any help is greatly appreciated. Please respond to this post or email ajdoganieri@gmail.com.
