magnoman1 Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 I have a 02 RX 300 thats is great shape but the drivers seat is starting to get some wear on the bottom cushion. I have checked into replacing it but the dealer wants just an ureal amount fopr the part. I have checked into some aftermarket but then the color will not match. Can anyone tell me if there are any other way to go. they seem very hard to find used?

GDixon Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 Call the local junkyards and find out if they have a wrecked Lexus or ask the person where one might be found. I believe that all of the RX seats are interchangeable, even the hybrid. Someone else on this site might know more.

I took my '94 ES300 to a shop in Scottsdale, AZ that was able to match the leather perfectly. When the time comes to replace the upholstery in my '02 RX300, I'll go to the same place. I'll see if I can find the name of it. BobL
