96 Ls Nak Headunit Being Weird. How Hard A Fix Is This?

The headunit in our 1996 LS is going nuts. It will freak out and randomly change CDs or lock on a station and not move. The less you use it the better but it will still lock up. Is there a way to fix it without buying a whole new HU? Could I send it somewhere. Is it connections that need to be resoldered or is it something else?
