Need Some Help

I have an '02 GS300 and recently the Parking/Emergency Brake Indicator Light on the dash randomly comes on, and sometimes when I put my foot on the regular brake while driving. I've played around with the Parking/Emergency brake pedal and that works fine, but the indicator light on the dash just turns on on its own without the brake being engaged. Anyone know what could be wrong and if it's fixable without going to a shop or lexus? Thanks in advance

Check your brake fluid in the master cylinder reservoir. Having low level or a bad float switch will make this light come on as well.

keep in mind though........low fluid normally means u having a problem with the brakes somewhere!
