golfnut324
I have this message when I start my car (A 2003 LS430): "Change A/C Filter". Is this something I should be able to do myself? Can anyone help with instructions on how to do and where the best place to get parts is? Thanks for any help that you can provide. Craig Pollen and dusk filter mounted in the air intake for the climate control system. Accessable behind the removeable top rear of the glove box. Instructions usually in the owners manual. Gary K
Just had to replace mine (also 2003) and it takes about 30 seconds. The bottom glove box has a plastic insert in the back that lifts up and out. The reach in and squeeze the two plastic flanges on the inner cover and pull out. Slide the tray out and replace the small filter. Reverse to install. Hold the a/c off button down for about 4 seconds to reset the message. Hope this helps Gary
golfnut324
Thanks for the quick reply and help. I have found and ordered replacement filter and have already reset the notice. Thanks to both for the help! Craig
