Cigarette Lighter And Power Source Not Working =(

Well i got my garmin gps system yesterday and since it needed to be charged i tried pluging it in my cigarette lighter and it didnt work, than i tried the other one thats located inside the compartment between the front seats and nothing as well. I have tried charging it in another car and it worked so its not the cable and i also tried using the regular lighter to see if it heats up and nothing...any suggestions on what i can do to test if its something minor before i take it to the stealership?

check your fuses

Yep, that would be the first thing to check. Of course you have to have the igntion switch on or on "acc" before those sockets are energized.

I had the same problem.. You can find a spare fuse, along with a puller for the fuse, in the engine compartment in the main fuse box cover...unless someone's already taken the spare out. If memory serves, it's a 15- correct?
