Gena Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 Hello, I am considering purchasing an Apexi Neo piggy back computer to control the air fuel ratio. I noticed my MPG rate has decreased significantly in the past three weeks that I have owned it. Has anyone installed a piggy back on the GS before? How were the results?
SKperformance Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 It has been poorly tuned and it keeping power settings without being set for WOT. Get a shop to run it on a dyno for proper alignment.

I think you'd be diggin yourself into a deeper hole with Apex'i's AF controller ...I hardly trust the company's R&D dept. to make something suitible for a GS400...they specialize in Honda's don't they? I believe their controller is not suited well for vvt-i either....only vtech.
SKperformance Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 The neo is not a engine management system it is a piggy back controller . It only intercepts data streams from the MAP and throttle. It has nothing to do with vvti vtec Honda/ toyota or the rest of it. It works the same on any car , it needs to be programmed to be Abel to work. Apex-i doesn't specialise in any car. Your comments sound very illogical and do not seem to represent facts fodogsfo ?
