1991 Ls400 Wheel Offset

Alright, I am wondering about wheel offsets and the LS400 (1991).

From what i can gather on the forum, the stock offset is +50.

I am putting 16" rims on it, and am wondering if anyone knows what offset range is possible on this car? I have read some people using certain offsets and getting fender rub over bumps...

The rims I want have a 35 offset, but like I said, I am unsure what this will do to the fitting. If anyone knows a range, I would appreciate it.

EDIT: Some of the wheel sites show 42 offsets on what they say will fit a 1991 lexus ls400
