Out Side Mirrors

Has anyone encountered a situation in which you can not adjust your out side rearview mirrors? I was told by the dealer that I have a computer malfunction. I was hoping it could be a fuse. Any help would be appreciated.

What year car? I had a similar problem with my 93 LS that has memory control of the outside mirrors for different drivers. The circuitry is different with/without memory for the mirrors. There is an electronic control unit for the mirrors if you have memory control that is buried under the instrument panel behind the glove box. I fixed my problem by removing and cleaning the outside mirror switch located on the instrument panel, drivers side. They have worked perfectly ever since I cleaned the switch.

I have the mirror control unit (from behind the glove box) for a 93. I need one for a 90 but have yet to find one at a junk yard. Lexus wants 410.00 for a new one. Let me know if you want the unit.
