Piranha Posted November 27, 2003 Share Posted November 27, 2003 well i have a 6 disc TRUNK changer for my 1995 ES300. when i bought it from the junkyard they said it didnt work so i thought it could be an easy fix. well i took it apart and hooked it up. i watch the cds get loaded and when it tries to play the laser moves but the cd doesnt spin. i think the motor may have a problem. anyway to fix this? Most people on this site have some car knowledge .But to be a cd repair technition is very slim and at best without the thing in front of them is damn near impossible. You need to take it to a repair shop unless you have proper testing equipment to repair it ,which it doesn;t sound like. The motor could be shot ,the gears ,the bands there are so many variables.
