90LS400Lexus Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 I am going to detail the inside of my car and wondering what the latest recommended protectant is - for the vinyl coverings - dash, upper door panels, etc.... the last protectant I used on my old 1990 LS400 hardened ALL of the dash and door panels and numerous ticks and pops developed! I do not want a repeat on my 1991 LS400, as it is still totally squeak, pop, tick and rattle free. Thanks in advance!
Lexucan Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 My recommendation is 303-Aerospace protectant which is suitable for all rubber, plastic and vinyl materials, and can also be used on leather. It provides excellent UV protection and does not leave a super-shiny and slippery residue. I also use it as a tire dressing.
SW03ES Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 I have high hopes for the Ultima Interior Sealant I bought, haven't had a chance to try it yet...
