Mad Dawg 350
What specifically would you like to know?? For Lexus vehicles, the first 3 digits indentify the world manufacturer. The 4th digit is body type, the 5th is for the engine, the 6th is for the model. The next 2 tells you about the restraint system and model line. The 9th digit is simply a "check digit" - means nothing. The 10th digit is the model year, the 11th digit is the assembly plant where the vehicle was made. Digits 12-17 are the sequential production numbers. I hope this is what you are looking for.
Michael-LS400
The VIN on my LS400 is jt753uf2000005621. What should I make of that for the model year? It is registered as a 1994 but seems to be a 1995 model.
still-learning
Someone posted previously that the H as the 5th unit in the vin indicates AWD in the RX330s. Would this apply to a 2008 RX350 as well?
