David Greenapple
Please share your brief opinion on whether it is worth purchasing the Teflon Coating / Environment Package. It is advertised as providing 5 years of worry free shine for your car -- could save you at least $600 on annual detailing over 5 years. Also, it's supposed to keep the car beautiful. I'm wondering if it's worth it. Thanks!

mburnickas
And pancakes and eggs fall right off! LMAO....Yet another reason why I dislike Lexus dealers. Only a few reason too.
SW03ES
ALL car dealers sell this crap, not just Lexus dealers. In fact in my experience fewer Lexus dealers sell it, or sell it hard, than other dealers.
eatingupblacktop
Just maintain the clear coat that's on there already and save your money. Besides by detailing it yourself, you get to find and fix all the stone chips early.
jcrome04
It's a scam. nothing lasts for 5 years! I use a paint sealant from rightlook.com at my detail shop. It's gaurunteed to last for 6 months at least. It's one of the best and thats about the longest they'll REALLY last. I had it on my last car for about 8 months and the water would bead off like i applied it same day...
