Rx400 Radio Wiring Schematics

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I recently installed the Vaistech system into my RX400 (Works great, and pretty easy install), but still long for integrated GPS as I did not get the nav system when I purchased the vehicle. I was able to find a radio dash kit on Ebay that replaces the existing factory radio with this insert and can fit aftermarket radios up to 4 inches (Double DIN). My question is whether anyone has a schematic of the radio wiring harness to allow me to determine what each wire is for, and also if anyone has had any luck in purchasing harness adapters. I have seen several harnes adapters for Toyota's that seem like they would work, but I want to be sure. I found a wiring schematic at http://carstereohelp.net/wireharness_Lexus1.htm but it is blurry and I cannot positively make out each label.

Thanks for the help.

Mike

You can download all the schematics you need from here:

https://techinfo.toyota.com

You'll need to purchase a subscription to access the information, but it's well worth it for the price of a one-day subscription.

Mike, if you have a scroll mouse, hold control and scroll. Basically just change the size of the font in your explorer window, then the picture will 'grow' and you can read the words.

Great tip... It worked! Thanks. Additionally, for all interested, here are some schematics that I found online.

Hi,

A huge favor, please. I have the 06 RX400h and, unfortunately, the sound system has neither satellite nor ipod compatability. In looking at many after market stereo systems, the major hang up is the lack of a dash kit to help the after market units...Pioneer, Kenwood, etc.....fit in the dash.

Could you point me in the right direction to locate one?

thanks in advance,

Bill
