What Happens If...

Recommended Posts

The piston rings and some other parts need to be seated and it's better to do that at varying speeds.

I had about 250 miles on my car and had to go on a trip. I ran on cruise and changed the speed about every 5-10 miles. I ran 60 a while, 70 a while, etc. Sometimes I'd just take an exit, slow down and then jump back on the highway to give the motor a little workout. Usually traffic will cause you to have to speed up and slow down anyway.
