Installing Timing Belt

cui

Recommended Posts

while putting in the timing belt this weekend, I found it was impossible to with all the marks aligned and slip the belt...it always endup that the crank marks being one tooth off.

Is that some wrong I have done? ( I "solved" the problem by offset the crank position by one tooth...and everything seems to check out that way....but it is just plain weird.)

I also didn't have time to put everything together yet to do some test run...I removed the plenum to get to the spark plugs...man, what a design....
