Is there a fix? I have an 04 SC430, about 31K miles... My roof will "thump" when I hit a bump with one side and not both. It also seems temperature and settling dependent. Inotherwords after pulling out of the garage into cooler weather for the first few minutes it seems to do it more. So, ones the roof gets settled into place it seems to stop... 04Blue430 Posted January 26, 2008 Share Posted January 26, 2008 Providing an update. I took it in for some service and mentioned the roof noise to the service tech. The looked at it and found a rock and sand in the track and mechanisms. This was at Johnson Lexus in Raleigh. No charge, the roof is much more solid, no noise.
