rehr0001 Posted December 7, 2007 Share Posted December 7, 2007 Anyone have any advice for what to check/do to fix my heated seat? My driver's side '96 heated seat isn't working. The LED lights when I push the seat heater and I can hear a click, but the seat does not get warm. The passenger side works just fine. Where do I start? How do I troubleshoot? VMF Posted December 7, 2007 Share Posted December 7, 2007 from what ive seen previously, if the light lights up, it means the the circuitry is working and the heating element is not. you going to have to have that replaced. some people recushion the seat itself since it requires taking the leather layer off. if you search the site you might be able to find a DIY instructions on how it should be done.
